Range syntax
Split a PDF by page range without a full PDF suite.
Page ranges are the fastest way to pull a section out of a PDF. You can extract one continuous section, several separate sections, or a custom order if you type the pages that way.
How page ranges are read
A hyphen means every page between two numbers. A comma means a separate page or range. The tool removes duplicates automatically, so typing 1-3, 2 still exports pages 1, 2, and 3 only once.
1-3 -> pages 1, 2, 3
2, 5, 9 -> pages 2, 5, 9
1-2, 6-8 -> pages 1, 2, 6, 7, 8
